Mennonite Urban Ministries (MUM)

The following is a description of the Mennonite Urban Ministry and it's first 37 years as an organization:

Mennonite Urban Ministries, a 37 year old non-profit organization, unites the passion of Mennonite Congregations in the greater Denver area to reach outside the walls of the church to serve Neighborhoods in need.

Ministries include:

Emergency rent and utilities assistance, assisting with over $29,000 in 2005
Housing for homeless familes with Interfaith Hospitality Network.
Assisting familes to secure permanent housing with the Familes and Senior Homeless Initiative.
Emergency Food Pantry
Free Sunday Breakfast Program for the homeless.
Emergency assistance for homeless children through Emergency Family Assistance Association in Boulder County.
After-school Bicylce Repair Club in a Denver Public Elementary School.
